Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Christmas Fayre went very well and let me try out my new lights on my display stand, (home made set up). Am now thinking about new work and which way to go next year. I wish anyone who reads this a Happy Christmas and a prosperous (if it’s possible at the moment) New Year.
Christmas fair
I shall be displaying some slate pictures at the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust christmas fair at Wolsey Bridge near Rugeley Staffs on November 22nd and 23rd. Its a great event with lots of things to see and do. Do visit if you are able to.
Exhibition has now finished and has to be rated as a success. Sold some pics and received fair bit of publicity and feedback.Venue was good and judging by the removal of literature there were plenty of visitors.
Time to start painting more pictures through the winter to replace those ‘re-housed’.
I am doing a craft fair in Burntwood Staffs on Nov 8th where I shall display bird slates and slate coasters.
Exhibition has now finished. I did visit it and felt it was better than last years in terms of the artwork on show. Better still was that I sold two of my pictures- a first for this prestigious event!!!
However onward and upward (hopefully). I have today hung 27 pictures in my own exhibition at the Atrium Gallery in the Blakenall Village Centre, Thames Road, Blakenall, Walsall, WestMids. It is on until the end of september. Everybody welcome.
Good news. All my three pictures have been accepted for the above exhibition.
It is on NOW and runs until August 3rd 2008.All the accepted artwork can also be seen on the NEWA website.

Hi I thought I would kick off with some exhibition info.
I have submitted three pictures for the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (NEWA) 2008 exhibition at Goredale Garden Centre on The Wirral. There are usually approx 350 artworks on display and it lasts from July18th to August 3rd.
